For a couple of years a family of beaver made a home near Jack Creek, off the Nabesna Road. I dropped by the pond one afternoon when I had nothing better to do and spent about 4 or 5 hours photographing these amazing creatures.

It’s fascinating to watch a family of beaver, ever so industrious, going about their day. Each seemed to have a different task commissioned, and it seemed like beaver were going every which way at times.

It’s fun to watch them, friendly animals, and virtually every time 2 would pass each other by, they’d stop and greet one another.
